We stayed in a room with two queen size beds. Our room was spacious, and clean. The wifi was very strong, which was a huge plus. The free breakfast was simple but good.
Otherwise the room was a typical room.
We had a nice, clean room. The bathroom was spotless. It was quiet so we got a great night's sleep. We also had a choice if a hard pillow or a soft pillow which was great. And the breakfast was really good. One of the best complimentary breakfasts we have had at a holiday inn.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites was located about 10 to 15 minutes from the interstate. The room had plenty of room for 4 people. The beds were queen size and were bigger than the ones I slept on earlier in the week. The front desk person was helpful and polite. The worker in charge of the continental breakfast was also helpful and polite.
It was starting to storm and I asked if I could park my new Harley under the canopy but told it was a company policy to not allow that. I am an IHG member with over 70,000 pts. At every other Holiday Inn, I have been allowed to park (out of the way) under the canopy when on the Harley. Hamptons even encourage it.
Firstly, I arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday evening and my room was not available until 7pm because it was still being cleaned. Then - it gets worse - there were BEDBUGS in the bed. I told the front desk and all they offered to do was switch my room. Ridiculous!
